Announcement of business ranking for the 6th time

Association of Labor Exporters (VAMAS) in collaboration with International
Labor Organization (ILO) organizes the Conference (January 8, 2020 in Hanoi and
January 10, 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City) to evaluate the implementation of the
Code of Conduct (CoC-VN) for Service Enterprises that send workers abroad to
work under contracts and publish the ranking results of these enterprises in
2018-2019.
Mr.
Nguyen Luong Trao, President of the Association presided over the Conference. Ms. Valentina Barcucci, Deputy Director of
ILO Office in Vietnam and Mr. Nguyen Gia Liem, Deputy Director of the
Department of Overseas Labor Management attended the meeting, gave opinions and
presented the Certificate of Ranking to businesses.
This is the 6th time the business ranking is conducted based on
the results of evaluating the implementation of the Code of Conduct of
businesses.
The
implementation of the provisions of the Code of Conduct contributes to
improving the compliance with Vietnamese laws and international standards,
promoting enterprise level and better protecting workers working abroad,
preventing forced labor and human trafficking.
Out
of 104 enterprises participating in the implementation of CoC-VN in 2018-2019,
04 enterprises were rated 6 stars, 68 businesses were rated 5 stars, 30
enterprises were rated 4 stars and 02 enterprises were not eligible for
ranking.
